What a fantastic turn out – thank you all so much for your help and especially to Sam Kellie for co-ordinating the project and securing the funding for the development of the allotment area. The weather was mostly fine and the soup tasty!
There will be a follow up day to put the poly tunnel up – date to be arranged and weather permitting. All hands on deck again please! Your help is really appreciated.
Once gardening has begun it would be very helpful to have one or two regular gardening volunteers. Volunteers could be either parents, relatives or someone from the local community. If you think you could help or know someone who could help with this please see Mrs Hedley.
