Non Uniform Day - In exchange for Summer Fair donations
Otterburn Primary School and Nursery

Friday 20th June 2025 - all day

Dear Families, Please make a note in your diaries – Friday 20th June will be a non-uniform day in support of our upcoming Summer Fair, organised by our amazing PTA! We kindly ask that children bring in a donation on this day. This could be a tombola prize, a raffle prize or an item for the bottle stall (as long as it is unopened and in date!). Donations can be as small or as extravagant as you’re able to give – every contribution helps! Closer to the time, we will also be asking for donations for a cake stall. These can be dropped off either on the morning of the fair or the night before – please look out for further reminders. Last year’s Summer Fair was a fantastic success, raising over £1,000 for our children. Let’s see if we can do it again - or even better - this year. This year’s Summer Fair will take place on Saturday 5th July and will start at 11am. We’d love your support in spreading the word across the school and within our local community. All money raised goes directly towards buying new equipment, funding valuable experiences for the children and upgrading parts of our school – all of which benefit the children at Otterburn Primary School and Nursery. Our PTA is a small but mighty team and they are currently looking for new members – can you help? We’ll be sharing more information about this soon, but please start thinking about whether it’s something you could get involved with. If the size of the PTA becomes too small, it may unfortunately have to stop. This would mean a reduction in fundraising, fewer special experiences for the children and the loss of a real asset to our small rural community. If you would like to volunteer on the day or are interested in joining the PTA, please get in touch by emailing: admin@otterburn.northumberland.sch.uk. Your message will be passed on to Jilli Rogerson or Jo Willis. Please continue to keep an eye on newsletters and our social media pages for more updates in the coming weeks. Thank you for your continued support!
