Reminder: Children’s Countryside Day Trip – Thursday 4th June 2026 Our trip to the Children’s Countryside Day at Glendale Showfield will take place on Thursday 4th June 2026. All children from Reception to Year 6 will travel by bus, departing shortly after the start of the school day and returning to school at approximately 4:30pm. Please ensure arrangements are in place for your child to be collected from school at that time. Children should bring: • A packed lunch (unless a school packed lunch has been requested) • A water bottle • A sunhat • Labelled sun cream (please apply before school) Children should wear their school jumper/cardigan along with comfortable trousers/leggings and sturdy footwear suitable for outdoor activities. A voluntary parental contribution of £5.00 towards transport costs is requested (excluding children eligible for means-tested Free School Meals). Please look out for a letter with arrangements/consent slip. If you have any questions about the visit or collection arrangements, please contact the school office. We are looking forward to what should be a fantastic day for the children. There will be no Nursery provision on this date.
