Chinese New Year Workshops – Tuesday 10th February To celebrate Chinese New Year, we are delighted to be welcoming Jayamini de Silva from JammiArt Academy into school on Tuesday 10th February for a full day of creative, hands-on workshops with all classes. Years 4/5/6 will take part in a short classroom assembly in the morning, followed by a Chinese calligraphy wall art workshop in the afternoon. Years 1/2/3 will enjoy creating their own Chinese calligraphy wall art. Nursery and Reception children will take part in a fun Paper Dragons workshop. These sessions give children the opportunity to learn about Chinese culture and traditions through art and creativity. The workshops are funded through the Ray Wind Farm Fund and we are very grateful for their continued support in providing enriching experiences for our children.
