Bikeability – Monday 1st June 2026 and Tuesday 2nd June 2026
We are looking forward to welcoming Bikeability instructors into school after half term for our Year 5 and 6 pupils. Bikeability is a national cycle training programme which helps children develop important road safety awareness and confidence when cycling safely on roads and around the local community.
Consent forms have now been sent home and thank you to everyone who has already returned these promptly. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
Children taking part will need to bring:
• a roadworthy bike
• a helmet
• sturdy footwear suitable for cycling
• appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather conditions e.g. showerproof jacket to wear on
top of uniform – dress for the weather!
Bikes can be left securely overnight in the school hall if needed. If you have any questions regarding bike drop off or collection arrangements, please contact the school office. We are very grateful to Outspoken Training for delivering these sessions and helping our children develop valuable lifelong safety skills.
