Pupil Parliament

Introducing the Otterburn Primary School Pupil Parliament for 2020-2021. Following an election, these children have been elected as the Party Leader and Deputy Party Leader and will represent their houses - the owls, the badgers, the foxes and the squirrels - at half termly pupil parliament meetings with Ms Oliver.
The Pupil Parliament are responsible for making sure every child's ideas get heard. Following the pupil parliament meetings, the house representatives will feedback to their respective houses at a meeting held with their nominated teacher. Ideas from the pupil parliament will be discussed along with a particular focus area that each house has been given to work on.  These are the arts, active sport, well-being and eco.
The pupil parliament representatives will also have the opportunity to meet with the Governing Body to make sure they are part of the important decision making process for the school.
